Chairman of the Board

Douglas serves as Chairman of the Board for the Boulevard Investment Group and oversees alumni relations and fundraising initiatives. At SMU, Douglas co-founded and served as President of BIG from 2012 – 2014. He was also involved in the Portfolio Practicum course and the International Business Program at Fundação Getulio Vargas in São Paulo, Brazil. He graduated in 2014 to begin his career with Goldman Sachs as a Financial Analyst. Now based in Miami, he is a Vice President at Goldman Sachs, advising entrepreneurs and their families, foundations and private companies on all aspects of investment and wealth management.

Paul is responsible for improving the Boulevard Investment Group’s investment and research process. He was a member of the first Junior Analyst class inducted into the group in 2012, and he served as BIG’s second President from 2014 – 2016. He oversaw the group’s first donation to the SMU BBA Scholarship program and instituted a uniform financial curriculum for the Junior Analyst program. Paul graduated from SMU in 2016, and has since worked for Goldman Sachs, Citadel, Balyasny Asset Management, Cinctive Capital, and now Prespoint Capital as an analyst in the healthcare space.

Nick Fox

Board Member, Education & Recruiting

 

Nick oversees the Boulevard Investment Group’s education and professional recruiting programs. Nick served as President of BIG from 2016 – 2018 and he earned a BA in Philosophy and BBA in Finance with a specialization in Alternative Asset Management while at SMU. After graduating in 2018, he began his career with Goldman Sachs in the Investment Banking Natural Resources group in Houston. Nick then became an Associate at Stronghold Resource Partners, an energy-focused private equity firm. Nick is now a Director at Mockingbird Capital Partners in Austin.

 

 

Michael O’Keefe

Board Member, Group-Level Operations

 

 Michael directly oversees the Boulevard Investment Group’s group-level operations. Michael served as President of BIG in 2019 where he led the doubling of the fund’s AUM through fundraising and investing initiatives. At SMU, Michael was a member of the Alternative Asset Management Program and served as a Fellow for the Don Jackson Center. He graduated as class Valedictorian with a BBA in Finance and a BS in Engineering Mathematics. After graduating, Michael served as Vice President of Investment Strategies at CAZ Investments, and later, as a Downstream & Renewable Fuels Associate Analyst at Thomist Capital. Michael then became President and COO at PlantSwitch in Dallas, providing biodegradable alternatives to plastic. Now, Michael is the Chief of Staff at CAZ Investments, a $6 billion+ investments firm in Houston.

Tatiana Butkevits

Cameron manages the Boulevard Investment Group’s organizational structure. Cameron served as President of BIG in 2020. At SMU, Cameron studied Finance with a specialization in Alternative Asset Management and was an Associate for the Alternative Asset Management Center as well as a Fellow for the Don Jackson Center. Cameron graduated in December of 2020 to begin and began his role at PJT Partners in New York City as a Strategic Advisory Investment Banking Analyst. Cameron is now an Associate at TPG in the Real Estate Private Equity group.

 

Tatiana oversees the Boulevard Investment Group’s operations and organizational structure. She served as the President of BIG during 2021. At SMU, Tatiana was a member of the Alternative Asset Management Program, an SMU tour guide, and served as a Fellow for the Don Jackson Center. Tatiana graduated Summa Cum Laude with a BBA in Finance in December 2021 to begin her role at Morgan Stanley in the Transportation Investment Banking group in New York City. Now, Tatiana is a private equity associate at L Catterton in Greenwich, CT.

Board Member

Josh oversees the group’s current operations and investment process. He served as president from Winter 2021 to Spring 2023. At SMU, Josh was a NexPoint Tower Scholar, a Fellow for the Don Jackson Center, and a Trustee for the SMU Investment Committee. He graduated Summa Cum Laude in May 2023 with a BBA in Finance and BA in Computer Science to begin his current role as an Associate at the Long/Short Hedge Fund BWCP, LP in Dallas.

 

Lydia oversees the group’s current operations and investment process. She served as president from Fall 2023 to Spring 2024. At SMU, Lydia was a Fellow for the Don Jackson Center, a member of Women In Investing, and Chi Omega’s Treasurer. Additionally, Lydia was selected as Poets & Quants 2024 Best and Brightest Business Students. Now, Lydia works at William Blair in the Technology Group in Chicago.
